Hioki CT6701 Current Probe High S/N characteristic ideal for ultra low 1 mA order current waveforms. Clearly Observe Even 1 mA Waveforms
Hioki flat bandwidth current probes are best-in-class current sensors for use with Memory HiCorders and high performance oscilloscopes. The CT6701 is a high-sensitivity current probe that offers a wide DC to 120 MHz bandwidth and 5A of continuous input, and applications include capturing transient current signals from switching power supplies, inverters, and motor controllers.
The probe is designed with a high permeability magnetic shield with low insertion loss to reduce derating that may result from increased sensor head heating caused by eddy currents, making it ideal for measuring current of low impedance circuits and waveforms that include high frequency components.
High Signal-to-Noise Ratio
Hioki-manufacturered Hall elements deliver probes characterized by low noise across a wide bandwidth, letting you measure current at a high signal-to-noise ratio so that even minuscule currents don’t get lost in the noise.
One-touch Disconnection from the BNC Terminal
Easily connect the probe with your oscilloscope or recorder without twisting or turning the connector. Simply insert the connector until it automatically locks into place. Use the unlock lever and pull to detach.
Automatic Zero-Adjustment and Demagnetization with a Single Button
Zero-adjustment and demagnetization must be conducted before each measurement to null out any residual signals and remove any magnetic fields from the previous test in order to provide an accurate and repeatable output. The CT6701 is designed with an automatic zero-adjustment and demagnetization feature that can be activated with a single button to cancel any offset margin of error after measuring a large current.
